Hello! I'm Aashish Singh, and for the past 21 days, I’ve been following a challenge where I dedicate 8+ hours daily to learning DSA, Core CS subjects like Computer Networks and OS, and building projects along the way.
Here are a few valuable lessons I’ve learned that are helping me stay consistent and grow:
1. Cut down the noise
Seriously — block out distractions. I use earbuds and play binaural beats to stay focused and enter deep work mode.
2. Take frequent breaks
Try the Pomodoro 50/10 method — study for 50 minutes, then take a 10-minute break. I usually blast music, listen to a podcast, or sip some green tea while reviewing notes. Don't forget to rest your eyes too!
3. Be candid in public
This might sound odd, but it’s powerful: when you learn in public, be real. People connect with the struggles and the small wins. Share the setbacks and breakthroughs — that's how you build a community that supports and checks in on your growth.
Thanks for reading — and if you’re on a similar journey, feel free to connect!
Signing off. 👋
